Martin's Farm Dam Co-operative Limited (MAFADA) is a family-founded agricultural co-operative growing fresh produce on 100 hectares of arable land in Marulaneng village, Mokopane. Registered in 2011, we sell direct — fresh, fairly priced, and grown by the people who own the harvest.
MAFADA farms 100 hectares of arable land in Marulaneng village, Mokopane, under a Permission to Occupy (PTO) agreement on communal land. Of this, 60 hectares are covered by a water use licence from the Department of Water and Sanitation, supporting irrigated crop production.
Current produce lines are red onion, white onion, and cayenne chillies, grown and harvested on-site and sold direct by the kilogram — no middlemen. The co-operative was founded in 2011 by five family members and continues to operate as a family-run agricultural business.
